I would be thrilled to tell you how
Alpha-Stim has improved my life.
I have had severe chronic bursitis in my left hip for about 4 1/2 years. The
medications that have been prescribed for this condition have ranged from
inflammatory like Motrin, Voltaren and Feldene, to pain medications like
Vicodin, and muscle relaxers that include Flexeril. My doctor also tried
cortisone injections, which was very painful and unsuccessful. Taking these
medications over a 4 1/2 year period of time has not only been very
expensive, but has taken a toll on my stomach. In December 1998, my doctor
went to a seminar, which included alternative methods for chronic pain
suffers. She was very impressed with what she had heard about the Alpha-Stim
100 and decided to purchase one for herself to use in her practice. Since
she has a wide variety of patients that have chronic pain, she felt that
this would be a good test market for the machine. She immediately thought of
me because after trying all the conventional methods for bursitis (i.e.
Medications, physical therapy, and pain clinics), nothing seemed to be
taking care of or improving the condition. She loaned me her machine for
about a 5-week period of time. I was skeptical at first but was willing to
try anything to get rid of the constant pain I had. After two one-hour
treatments with the Alpha-Stim there was a noticeable improvement in my hip.
I was thrilled to say the least and continued to use the machine every day
for the next five weeks. I was able to walk with no limping, stabbing pain
or tenderness in the area for the first time in years.
When I returned the Alpha-Stim back to my doctor, I told her I wanted to
purchase a machine for myself. Though the Alpha-Stim was an expensive
investment, it is well worth it. Considering what I have had to pay for
medications over the last 4 1/2 years, the cost of the Alpha-Stim is
nothing. It would be so beneficial if health insurance companies covered
things like the Alpha-Stim. With the high cost of medications these days, a
lot of money could be saved with the purchase of your machine.
My doctor has helped so many of her patients since February. I have been
telling anyone who will listen about how my quality of life has improved.
After seeing my success with the Alpha-Stim and after two treatments for her
tennis elbow, my mother has already purchased an Alpha-Stim. My dad is also
considering purchasing a machine for him and his wife, who are chronic
suffers of shoulder and back pain.
