I am writing to you to thank you for
introducing me to the Alpha-Stim 100.
After a weightlifting accident in
1988 I became a chronic pain patient with the diagnosis of classic sciatica,
DJD, L 4-5-S1 with bulging discs. After five years of therapy, traction,
pelvic traction, acupuncture, spas etc., my pain became so bad that I became
disabled and I have not worked since 12-93.
I wanted an option besides surgery because of the chance of paralysis. This
is when I sought the help of Rick Weaver, a noted sports medicine PA in our
area. He said, "listen, if I can help you with your pain will you quit
smoking?" You can imagine my surprise! I thought, who is this guy, God? So,
I told him, yes I'll do almost anything to get relief from this pain.
To make a much longer story shorter and cut right to the chase, the
Alpha-Stim worked on me. I went from taking 6-5mg. tabs of Percodan a day to
1 Vicodan a day in 2 months. After smoking Camel straights for 30
years I quit. Now I am leading a much more active life with just a portion
of the pain I used to have. I still am a long way from normal and
healthy but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The
Alpha-Stim has given me reason to hope. Thank you.
