I have had fibromyalgia for several
years and have tried many different things for pain control. My
physical therapist advised me to try a TENS unit. I used the TENS for
1 month at home. I was unable to achieve any noticeable degree of pain
relief and in some areas of my body it seemed to create an ache. I
tried placing the electrodes in different areas but never was able to get
much out of it.
A friend then loaned me her Alpha-Stim unit and immediately I realized a
difference. It not only helped the pain in my back, arms and legs but
I have also been able to sleep better. The cranial attachment enables
me to control most of my headaches and has helped me to relax at bedtime.
