I have secondary progressive MS. For 3 1/2 years I have had intractable severe neuropathic pain in my legs and back. I tried every painkiller out there and every FDA approved MS drug and couldn't tolerate anything, especially narcotics. I even participated in a clinical trial for an experimental pain killing drug, but I had to quit when the drug gave me psychotic side effects. I was at the lowest point in my battle with this pain and my depression was so bad my friends and family feared I would harm myself. I had no energy and couldn't function at even a low level. Then I heard about Alpha-Stim. My dear brother sent one to me when he saw what it was doing for his brother-in-law and I was contacted by a local doctor who distributes them. She demonstrated it for me and I began using it. My reaction to the Alpha-Stim 100 was nothing less than miraculous. I have only been using it for a month and my depression is gone. The pain has abated so much that I no longer even need my walker to get around my house. I can walk without aid! My energy level is also greatly improved. I have already recommended Alpha-Stim to a friend with chronic pain in his back. The best thing about the device is that there are no drugs involved and therefore no side effects. I recently saw my neurologist, who was amazed when I got up from my chair and walked across the room. Even though a new MS drug has been FDA approved, I feel I don't need it at this time and he agreed. Allison Suddard, the distributor in this area, is planning to demonstrate the Alpha-Stim to my neurologist and maybe more MS patients here can benefit from it. Colorado is the worst state for MS in the US. All I can say is thank you to everyone who worked to get me the product and I wish I had known about it sooner.
